1997-2001 studies at the hmt/swiss jazz school bern with billie brooks, is member of the swiss
jazz school bigband for two years (leader bert joris; soloists phillip catherine, jimmy heath, clark
terry, phil woods…)
1998 three month in nyc: ten week program at the drummer’s collective, privatlessons with billie
hart; winner of the award at the international “generations98” meeting in frauenfeld; endorsementcontract with giannini swiss drums
2000 winner of the first prize at the “contemporary patterns”- contest in bern with the robi
lakatos trio; tour with the marianne racine quartet
2001 founds the trio-project “plurism” (with peter frei, b, domenic landolf, ts/bcl); spends two
