Monitor ISSA’s financial assets and
oversee the preparation of accurate and
meaningful financial records for the
association. The Finance Committee
shall report quarterly to the Board and
annually to the Council.
Advisory capacity; make sure legal
requirements are met by ISSA Hungary
- an owned subsidiary of ISSA
Netherlands, established for
administration and HR purposes.
Appointed by ISSA Board, linked with
3 year Strategy Framework. Tasks:
Work with Secretariat/RAs to develop
strategy/yearly work plans: propose
programmatic priorities, based on
members’ needs, specific situation in
the region, latest research etc. Provide
input on developing new resources,
partnerships and advocacy initiatives.
Facilitate and support peer learning and
the work of SIGs. Develop evaluation
tools to measure progress and improve
ISSA’s operating effectiveness.
Evaluate results of projects and
recommend approaches, models and
resources which may be disseminated
in the network. Assist with mapping
members’ strengths and needs.

Anchors
In each ISSA sub-region one of the
member NGOs is hired to serve as RA,
on consulting contract. RAs report to
the Executive Director.
Tasks:
- Work on communication and
membership issues.
- Assist with coordination of
horizontal exchanges and peermentoring.
- Assist with mapping members’
strengths and needs
- Provide input in the
development of ISSA’s
strategy and yearly work plans.

Internal/External Experts and Program
Specialists are hired as necessary on a
consulting contract, for partnership
projects, to provide content, serve as
trainers, project leaders, leaders of
special interest group or as mentors for
the network, as opportunities arise.
Consultants report to the Program
Director or the project leader. ISSA
may recommend experts from its Core
Group to other stakeholders when they
seek to hire consultants.
