(1Co 12:11) But all these operations the one and the same spirit performs, making a distribution to each
one respectively just as it wills.
(Ac 2:1-4) Now while the day of the [festival of] Pentecost was in progress they were all together at the
same place, 2 and suddenly there occurred from heaven a noise just like that of a rushing stiff breeze, and
it filled the whole house in which they were sitting. 3 And tongues as if of fire became visible to them and
were distributed about, and one sat upon each one of them, 4 and they all became filled with holy spirit
and started to speak with different tongues, just as the spirit was granting them to make utterance.
(Ac 1:13-14) So, when they had entered, they went up into the upper chamber, where they were staying,
Peter as well as John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bar·thol′o·mew and Matthew, James
[the son] of Al·phae′us and Simon the zealous one, and Judas [the son] of James. 14 With one accord all
these were persisting in prayer, together with some women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his
brothers.
(Mt 1:20) But after he had thought these things over, look! Jehovah’s angel appeared to him in a dream,
saying: “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife home, for that which has been
begotten in her is by holy spirit.
(Lu 1:38) Then Mary said: “Look! Jehovah’s slave girl! May it take place with me according to your
declaration.” At that the angel departed from her.
(Ac 5:32) And we are witnesses of these matters, and so is the holy spirit, which God has given to those
obeying him as ruler.”
(Mr 3:14-16) And he formed [a group of] twelve, whom he also named “apostles,” that they might
continue with him and that he might send them out to preach 15 and to have authority to expel the
demons. 16 And the [group of] twelve that he formed were Simon, to whom he also gave the surname
Peter,
(Mt 14:25-29) But in the fourth watch period of the night he came to them, walking over the sea. 26 When
they caught sight of him walking on the sea, the disciples were troubled, saying: “It is an apparition!” And
they cried out in their fear. 27 But at once Jesus spoke to them with the words: “Take courage, it is I; have
no fear.” 28 In reply Peter said to him: “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you over the waters.”

He said: “Come!” Thereupon Peter, getting down off the boat, walked over the waters and went toward
Jesus.
(Ac 2:14-36) But Peter stood up with the eleven and raised his voice and made this utterance to them:
“Men of Ju·de′a and all YOU inhabitants of Jerusalem, let this be known to YOU and give ear to my
sayings. 15 These [people] are, in fact, not drunk, as YOU suppose, for it is the third hour of the day. 16 On
the contrary, this is what was said through the prophet Joel, 17 ‘“And in the last days,” God says, “I shall
pour out some of my spirit upon every sort of flesh, and YOUR sons and YOUR daughters will prophesy
and YOUR young men will see visions and YOUR old men will dream dreams; 18 and even upon my men
slaves and upon my women slaves I will pour out some of my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

And I will give portents in heaven above and signs on earth below, blood and fire and smoke mist;

the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and illustrious day of
Jehovah arrives. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”’ 22 “Men of Israel,
hear these words: Jesus the Naz·a·rene′, a man publicly shown by God to YOU through powerful works
and portents and signs that God did through him in YOUR midst, just as YOU yourselves know, 23 this
[man], as one delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, YOU fastened to a
stake by the hand of lawless men and did away with. 24 But God resurrected him by loosing the pangs of
death, because it was not possible for him to continue to be held fast by it. 25 For David says respecting
him, ‘I had Jehovah constantly before my eyes; because he is at my right hand that I may never be
shaken. 26 On this account my heart became cheerful and my tongue rejoiced greatly. Moreover, even my
flesh will reside in hope; 27 because you will not leave my soul in Ha′des, neither will you allow your loyal
one to see corruption. 28 You have made life’s ways known to me, you will fill me with good cheer with
your face.’ 29 “Men, brothers, it is allowable to speak with freeness of speech to YOU concerning the
family head David, that he both deceased and was buried and his tomb is among us to this day.

Therefore, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath that he would
seat one from the fruitage of his loins upon his throne, 31 he saw beforehand and spoke concerning the
resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he forsaken in Ha′des nor did his flesh see corruption. 32 This
Jesus God resurrected, of which fact we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore because he was exalted to the
right hand of God and received the promised holy spirit from the Father, he has poured out this which
YOU see and hear. 34 Actually David did not ascend to the heavens, but he himself says, ‘Jehovah said to
my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, 35 until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.”’ 36 Therefore let all
the house of Israel know for a certainty that God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom YOU
impaled.”
(Ac 4:18-20) With that they called them and charged them, nowhere to make any utterance or to teach
upon the basis of the name of Jesus. 19 But in reply Peter and John said to them: “Whether it is righteous
in the sight of God to listen to YOU rather than to God, judge for yourselves. 20 But as for us, we cannot
stop speaking about the things we have seen and heard.”
(Ac 4:31) And when they had made supplication, the place in which they were gathered together was
shaken; and they were one and all filled with the holy spirit and were speaking the word of God with
boldness.
(Ac 5:8-9) Peter said to her: “Tell me, did YOU [two] sell the field for so much?” She said: “Yes, for so
much.” 9 So Peter said to her: “Why was it agreed upon between YOU [two] to make a test of the spirit of
Jehovah? Look! The feet of those who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”
(Ac 9:40) But Peter put everybody outside and, bending his knees, he prayed, and, turning to the body,
he said: “Tab′i·tha, rise!” She opened her eyes and, as she caught sight of Peter, she sat up.
(Mt 16:16-17) In answer Simon Peter said: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 In response
Jesus said to him: “Happy you are, Simon son of Jo′nah, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to
you, but my Father who is in the heavens did.
(Joh 6:68) Simon Peter answered him: “Lord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of
everlasting life;
(Joh 20:6-10) Then Simon Peter also came following him, and he entered into the memorial tomb. And
he viewed the bandages lying, 7 also the cloth that had been upon his head not lying with the bandages
but separately rolled up in one place. 8 At that time, therefore, the other disciple who had reached the
memorial tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed. 9 For they did not yet discern the scripture that
he must rise from the dead. 10 And so the disciples went back to their homes.
(Ac 1:6) When, now, they had assembled, they went asking him: “Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to
Israel at this time?”
(Eph 3:8-11) To me, a man less than the least of all holy ones, this undeserved kindness was given, that
I should declare to the nations the good news about the unfathomable riches of the Christ 9 and should
make men see how the sacred secret is administered which has from the indefinite past been hidden in
God, who created all things. 10 [This was] to the end that now to the governments and the authorities in
the heavenly places there might be made known through the congregation the greatly diversified wisdom
of God, 11 according to the eternal purpose that he formed in connection with the Christ, Jesus our Lord,
(Eph 3:18) in order that YOU may be thoroughly able to grasp mentally with all the holy ones what is the
breadth and length and height and depth,
(Joh 10:16) “And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; those also I must bring, and they will
listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd.
(Ac 13:8-12) But El′y·mas the sorcerer (that, in fact, is the way his name is translated) began opposing
them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. 9 Saul, who is also Paul, becoming filled with holy
spirit, looked at him intently 10 and said: “O man full of every sort of fraud and every sort of villainy, you
son of the Devil, you enemy of everything righteous, will you not quit distorting the right ways of Jehovah?

Well, then, look! Jehovah’s hand is upon you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sunlight for a period
of time.” Instantly a thick mist and darkness fell upon him, and he went around seeking men to lead him
by the hand. 12 Then the proconsul, upon seeing what had happened, became a believer, as he was
astounded at the teaching of Jehovah.
(Mt 10:20) for the ones speaking are not just YOU, but it is the spirit of YOUR Father that speaks by
YOU.
(Eph 6:18-20) while with every form of prayer and supplication YOU carry on prayer on every occasion in
spirit. And to that end keep awake with all constancy and with supplication in behalf of all the holy ones,

also for me, that ability to speak may be given me with the opening of my mouth, with freeness of
speech to make known the sacred secret of the good news, 20 for which I am acting as an ambassador in
chains; that I may speak in connection with it with boldness as I ought to speak.
(Ac 13:2) As they were publicly ministering to Jehovah and fasting, the holy spirit said: “Of all persons set
Bar′na·bas and Saul apart for me for the work to which I have called them.”
(Ac 16:6-10) Moreover, they went through Phryg′i·a and the country of Ga·la′ti·a, because they were
forbidden by the holy spirit to speak the word in the [district of] Asia. 7 Further, when getting down to
Mys′i·a they made efforts to go into Bi·thyn′i·a, but the spirit of Jesus did not permit them. 8 So they
passed Mys′i·a by and came down to Tro′as. 9 And during the night a vision appeared to Paul: a certain
Mac·e·do′ni·an man was standing and entreating him and saying: “Step over into Mac·e·do′ni·a and help
us.” 10 Now as soon as he had seen the vision, we sought to go forth into Mac·e·do′ni·a, drawing the
conclusion that God had summoned us to declare the good news to them.
(Joh 6:44) No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him; and I will resurrect him
in the last day.
(1Co 12:4-6) Now there are varieties of gifts, but there is the same spirit; 5 and there are varieties of
ministries, and yet there is the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of operations, and yet it is the same
God who performs all the operations in all persons.
(1Co 12:11) But all these operations the one and the same spirit performs, making a distribution to each
one respectively just as it wills.
(Lu 12:32) “Have no fear, little flock, because YOUR Father has approved of giving YOU the kingdom.
(Joh 10:16) “And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; those also I must bring, and they will
listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd.
(Ac 20:28) Pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the holy spirit has appointed
YOU overseers, to shepherd the congregation of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own
[Son].
(Ro 8:11) If, now, the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in YOU, he that raised up
Christ Jesus from the dead will also make YOUR mortal bodies alive through his spirit that resides in
YOU.
(Ro 8:15) For YOU did not receive a spirit of slavery causing fear again, but YOU received a spirit of
adoption as sons, by which spirit we cry out: “Abba, Father!”
(Ge 1:1-3) In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth proved to be
formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active
force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters. 3 And God proceeded to say: “Let light come
to be.” Then there came to be light.
(Re 22:17) And the spirit and the bride keep on saying: “Come!” And let anyone hearing say: “Come!”
And let anyone thirsting come; let anyone that wishes take life’s water free.
(Mt 28:19) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,
(Ga 5:22-23) On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness,
goodness, faith, 23 mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
(2Co 7:1) Therefore, since we have these promises, beloved ones, let us cleanse ourselves of every
defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in God’s fear.
(Re 7:9) After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all
nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in
white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands.
(Re 7:14) So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one that knows.” And he said to me: “These
are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them
white in the blood of the Lamb.
(2Co 4:7) However, we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the power beyond what is normal may
be God’s and not that out of ourselves.
(1Pe 4:14) If YOU are being reproached for the name of Christ, YOU are happy, because the [spirit] of
glory, even the spirit of God, is resting upon YOU.
(Php 2:12-13) Consequently, my beloved ones, in the way that YOU have always obeyed, not during my
presence only, but now much more readily during my absence, keep working out YOUR own salvation
with fear and trembling; 13 for God is the one that, for the sake of [his] good pleasure, is acting within YOU
in order for YOU both to will and to act.
(Php 2:16) keeping a tight grip on the word of life, that I may have cause for exultation in Christ’s day,
that I did not run in vain or work hard in vain.
(Jas 1:5) So, if any one of YOU is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously
to all and without reproaching; and it will be given him.
(Lu 11:9) Accordingly I say to YOU, Keep on asking, and it will be given YOU; keep on seeking, and YOU
will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to YOU.
(Lu 11:13) Therefore, if YOU, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to YOUR children, how
much more so will the Father in heaven give holy spirit to those asking him!”
