You are an economic advisor to a candidate for national office.
She asks you for a summary of the economic consequences of
protectionist trade arguments. How do you respond?
Three arguments used to promote trade barriers are the
national security agreement, the infant industry argument and the
dumping argument. Explain each of these arguments and
evaluate any flaws of each argument.
Your response should be between 500 and 1,000 words typed,
double spaced and in Times New Roman 12 point font. All
sources must be cited. You will submit a copy through ACC
blackboard and give a printed copy to Ms. Foster, along with
confirmation that the paper was uploaded to blackboard.
Due date for upload to ACC and paper turn in to Ms. Foster is
Friday, Sept. 27th.
