Job Description Corporate Partnership Sales Executive iLEAD Education Social Enterprise Aide et Action Cambodia Aide et Action International (AEAI) is an international NGO, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. AEA International began its programs in India in 1981 and is now working in more than 25countries across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia and China to support the development of sustainable educational projects. AEAI started working in Southeast Asia in 2003, first in Cambodia and later extending its programmes to Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and China through both partnerships and direct implementation with local stakeholders (NGOs, governments, communities). AEAI believes in the universal right to a quality education and bases each intervention around this ethos. To sustain the project, AEAI Cambodia believes there is a fertile ground for the establishment of an iLEAD Education Social Enterprise (ESE) that will use its profits to sustain our mission. iLEAD ESE will play the role of “center of excellence”, transferring its knowledge and skills to the community. Our main purposes is to 1) Give business a different meaning by placing people at its heart (people-centric), 2) Generate resources for the mission and 3) Create employment and income generating opportunities for disadvantaged communities. iLEAD Education Social Enterprise (ESE) is implementing a social enterprise model“KHMER LEARN Project” to improve literacy and build a reading and learning culture amongst children and adults in Cambodia. This social enterprise model will sustains creators in delivering educational content on the Khmer LEARN. Currently, The Khmer LEARN is running an online Khmer Library App with thousands books for free of charge reading and also operating a Khmer Reader App with hundreds of books for sales. The income from the sales will support professional publishers, authors, and developers to create, distribute, and sustain more diverse books and digital educational contents and to establish a sustainability framework for content and platform development. Job Title Job Title: Corporate Partnership Sales Executive Hierarchical Manager:Chief of Impact Development Officer Entity: iLEAD Education Social Enterprise, Aide et Action Functional Manager: Communications and Marketing Manager Mission Corporate Partnership Sales Executive is a key member of the iLEAD ESE, bringing skills, experience, commitment and passion to enhance, develop and add value to holistic program. The Sales Executive will bring skills, experience, commitment and passion to enhance, develop and add value to a holistic program. The Sales Executive will work closely with the team to grow 1 ILEAD Education Social Enterprise. Her/His role will have the responsibility for the development and implementation of the overall business sales plan to support business growth. This role will contribute significantly to organizational growth, innovation, and solidification of our Social Enterprise as a leader in the education sector in the country and the region. Responsibilities Work closely with team of ILEAD Education Social Enterprise to grow the sales and corporate partnerships. Develop and implement sales strategy for books and educational materials through online and direct sales for current and new social enterprise programs and activities. Identify business opportunities and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. Identify and build cooperate partnerships with key suppliers and partners Directly sell products (books and educational materials) by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospective buyers; recommending solutions. Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending income and profits for social purposes and service improvements. Identify product improvements or new products by remaining on top of the industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Responsible for developing a portfolio of accounts through new business development. Also in charge of looking for new opportunities and for managing the full negotiation and closing process with clients from the start through to the finish. Managing the sales process for new prospective customers, from initial contact through to closure. Dealing with customer enquiries face to face, over the phone or via email, and social media. Contacting prospective customers, suppliers, and partners and discussing their requirements. Achieving all revenue targets &objectives in line with the Business Plan for Sales. Developing & maintaining successful business relationships with all prospective business customers. Identify the current trends in books and contents that customers want. Planning and organizing daily sales to ensure all opportunities are maximised Developing a full understanding of the business market-place and e-market function. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and key presentations and regular sales reports against set targets. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. 2 Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Contribute to the development and achievement of the wider organizational strategic plan. Ensure the publication of Quality Indicators on Social Enterprise website Ensure indicative fees, scholarships of our school program for the public and other relevant fees are published and accessible on the website Publish complaints and appeals process on the website Education and Professional Experience An advanced degree in Marketing, business administration, ICT or other related disciplines 3 years working experience in related fields. Experience in book sales, digital contents and educational materialsand related social business development is a real asset; Excellent in Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Good Energy Levels, Negotiation, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning, Independence, Motivation for Sales Experience in managing websites, online content, e-marketing and social media Experience in customer relations and corporate communications Experience in stakeholder relations, team management Creative development experience, including graphic design and knowledge of Adobe Selling and negotiation skills in dealing with people of different professional and cultural backgrounds; Key Competences (Transversal/Professional) Competencies Level Relational Excellent listening, empathy and respect for cultural differences, strong interest in social development issues; Embrace child development and social cohesion improvement. Knowledge of education A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or significant industry experience in communications, marketing, public relations, business development, project management. 3 Organizational independent work skills and Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent organizational and direct and online sale management skills; Ability to work independently and at the same time prove to be a team player. Others Good working background in a multi-cultural setting and multi-disciplinary team; Good knowledge of Microsoft office, internet and email as well as other project management tools.
