Will the Egg Sink or Float?
1. Fill two beakers or jars (cups) with tap water.
2. Add three teaspoons of salt to one beaker (Cup). Stir until it dissolves.
3. Place a whole, uncooked egg in each jar (cup). Handle the eggs gently to avoid breakage. Observe
what happens to each egg. (Write your observations!)
4. Wash your hands when you are finished with this activity.
