ROBERT COHEN
Rob Cohen is a Management System Specialist whose experience in Quality
Assurance has spanned more than 25 years. Rob has worked in Quality
Management in manufacturing organizations, producing products for
Government contracts, commercial use, and medical and rehabilitation use. He
developed and implemented Management Systems that met U.S. and foreign
government standards, and has experience in developing and implementing
Total Quality Management (TQM) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Rob has worked with companies training and advising them in the following
areas: continuous improvement, ISO 9000, team building, export management,
problem solving, project management, and internal quality auditing. He has
developed Management Systems for companies that were certified to ISO 9001,
AS 9100, AS 9120, and ISO 13485. He has also developed Export Management
System that meet the strict requirements of the Export Administration
Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Rob is a trained Lead Assessor of Quality Systems (ISO 9000), a Senior Member
of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
(CQE). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management,
and an M.B.A. with concentrations in Management Information Systems and
Total Quality Management. He is the president of Adaptive Management
Solutions, Inc., a small consulting firm specializing in Management System
Consulting and Development. He is also an Adjunct Professor for Polytechnic
University where he teaches courses in Management, Business, Marketing, and
Quality Management.
