VACANCY NOTICE
Developmental Services Center, a not-for-profit agency providing comprehensive services for individuals with
intellectual/developmental disabilities in Champaign, Ford, Piatt and Iroquois counties, is now accepting
applications for the position of
¾
Developmental Instructor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED required. Experience and/or education in
Rehabilitation, Special Education, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology,
Art, Music, Theater, or related field preferred. Sufficient physical stamina
and mobility needed for lifting and carrying.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide vocational, social, recreational, behavioral,
independent living, and personal-care support on site and in the
community for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
HOURS:
Three-quarter time, Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
30 hours per week
SALARY:
Competitive, plus three-quarter benefits
