PROPERTIES :-
Liquid, colourless, in its pure from almost odourless.
Wt :1.196 kg/dm3 (at 22oC. at m.s.l).
Booling point :114.0oC at 1013 mbar.
53.5oC at 80 mbar.
41.0oC at 40 mbar.
Freezing point :- 49oC.
pH Value :Gramicid - C has a pH value of
approx. 1.5 to 2.1. It dose not
change the pH value of treated
water, when mixed in proper
proportion.
Foam Behavior :Toxicity :Gramicid - C
It dose not foam.
LD50 > 2800 mg/kg.
Is non-mutagenic and non
carcinogenic.

Cooling tower, the water is non
toxic.
Biodegradation :Gramicid - C is totally ecofriendly
and biodegradable.
Corrosion Resistance :- It is non corrosive to Aluminum,
Iron, steel, Chromium, Copper,
Nickel, F.R.P., P.P., P.E., P.V.C.
Shelf Life :can be stored for at least two
years if stored in cool and dark
place.
DOSAGES :The dosages of Gramicid - C will depend on the following
information to give an exact dosage, the following particulars are needed.
Quantity & Nature of bacteria.
Nature Of Algae & Fungi.
Temperature of water.
pH Value.
Surface material & its composition.
Total water hardness & Questionnaire.
If this information is not available, then as guide the following
dosages are recommended, the quantities refer to the volume of circulating
water. Initial dose 300 ppm. as shock dose then a maintenance dose 20 ppm.

SAFETY M ANUAL :GRAMICID - C is non toxic, however in its concentrated state
it does have an irritable & bleaching effect on the skin, on mucous membranes
and respiratory tracts and is thus particularly harmful to the eyes. When working
with GRAMICID - C protective goggles should be used. Usage of rubber gloves
is advisable which can be rinsed after usage.
