Dear Parents,
Year 5 Visit to PGL Windmill Hill Centre, 25th to 27th March 2015
We have now finalised the arrangements for this residential trip and the final amount due is
£35 – Cheques payable to Perryfields Junior School. Please can you pay this final amount by
Monday 2nd March.
I look forward to seeing parents and children at the pre-visit meeting at 5.00 pm on Monday
9th March.
Suggested clothing list below for your information.
CLOTHING LIST
Washing Towel
Waterproof Jacket
3 T-shirts
1 Long sleeved T-shirt
2 pairs of old trousers (not jeans) for activities
1 Pair casual trousers (may be jeans)
1 Pair shorts
2 Sweatshirts/Fleeces – long sleeved, warm
Comfortable clothes for Disco
Underwear/socks
Night-clothes
2 pairs of trainers (1 for wet activities)
1 pair of shoes or trainers for indoors
Sun hat (depending on weather)
Suntan lotion (depending on weather)
Toiletries (NO SPRAY DEODORANTS ANY CHILD WITH A SPRAY WILL HAVE IT
CONFISCATED)
Dirty linen bag
Plastic bottle for drinks
PLEASE CLEARLY NAME ALL CLOTHING
This list is for guidance only. The children often get very dirty so please do not send them with
new clothes. The majority of the activities are outside so coats need to be warm and waterproof.
Children should travel in casual clothing and warm coat/jacket.
A further letter with final travel arrangements will be issued prior to the trip.
