RULES:
1- Enter quilts in the name of the person that made the quilt.
2- Please indicate on the entry tag if you are under 18 (Junior) or adult:19-64,
Senior 65 +.
3- A first year beginner in quilting (regardless of age) should write (BEGINNER)
on the entry tag.
4- If your quilt has won a prize in any contest (other than a County or State Fair) it
should have (PROFESSIONAL) written on the entry tag.
5- If several people were involved in making a quilt it should have GROUP
written on the entry tag.
6- As a matter of courtesy, quilts that have been “sent out for quilting” should
have the name of the long arm quilter written on the entry tag.
7- In order to be judged all quilts must be entered and displayed in the quilt
division.
QUILTS WILL BE JUDGED ACCORDING TO WORKMANSHIP, OVERALL
DESIGN AND CREATIVE USE OF MATERIALS.
QUILTS SHOULD LIE FLAT AND HANG STRAIGHT.

These will be put in categories for judging after entry. Let the superintendent know if you want
junior or senior on them. This class could include an old quilt top that you have just recently quilted and
finished. Or it could be some old fabric from clothing or a household item that has been redone into a
quilt. Or a quilt that has been used to make a vest, purse or teddy bear. Let your imagination run free!
