A. Introduction
The 2nd Cadastre and Land Registry Expert Group Meeting will take place in Toledo (Spain), the capital of
Castilla-La Mancha, in the building of the Cadastre Regional Office of Castilla-La Mancha, situated in a
monastery dated from the 14th century. The meeting is co-organized and hosted by the Spanish Cadastre.

C. How to arrive
Toledo is located 71 kilometres south of Madrid, nearest airport is Madrid-Barajas. It is possible to arrive to
Toledo by car, by train o by bus.
1. By Car: you must take the Autovía N-401. In Madrid-Barajas airport you can find several rental car
companies. It takes less than 2 hours to arrive from Madrid-Barajas airport to Toledo by car.

2. By Train: From Nuevos Ministerios station 6 trains depart to Toledo. It will take you no more than an hour
and half approximately and the price of the train tickets to Toledo is 5,15 €. Important: Toledo train station is
closed for works, so the train stops in Algodor station (20 km far away from Toledo) and a free bus cover the
way from Algodor to Toledo train station.

It is possible to arrive to Nuevos Ministerios station from the Madrid-Barajas airport:

By Metro: In the airport, take METRO line 8 to “NUEVOS MINISTERIOS” station. In this station
you can take the “Regional Express” train to Toledo.

By Taxi: In the Madrid-Barajas airport it is possible to take a taxi to the train stations of Nuevos
Ministerios, Atocha-Renfe o Chamartín. The taxi price will be around 20 € and it will take you
about 20 minutes to arrive to the train station. Although the time and the taxi price depend on the
traffic.
3. By bus: From “ESTACIÓN SUR DE AUTOBUSES” (C/ Méndez Álvaro, corner C/Retama) Continental
Auto buses depart to Toledo every half an hour from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will take you about an hour
and half to arrive to Toledo by bus and the ticket price is 4,12 €.
It is possible to arrive to the “ESTACION SUR DE AUTOBUSES” from the Madrid-Barajas airport by METRO
or by Taxi.

By Metro: In the airport, take METRO line 8 to “NUEVOS MINISTERIOS” station and there take
a Line 6 to “MENDEZ ALVARO”. Exiting METRO station you have to follow the signals to
directly enter the bus station. It will take you 40 minutes approximately from the airport to the
bus station and the ticket price for metro is 1€..

By Taxi: In the Madrid-Barajas airport you can take a taxi to the MENDEZ ALVARO bus station.
The taxi price will be around 20 € and it will take you about 20 minutes to arrive the bus station.
Although the time and the price of taxi depend on traffic.

4. By Bus contracted by the Spanish Cadastre: the Directorate General of the Cadastre will organize a
bus to participant’s disposal to cover the way Madrid - Toledo and Toledo - Madrid.
From Madrid the bus will depart on 13 th November at 5,00 p.m. from Paseo de la Castellana corner
Raimundo Fernandez Villaverde (near Nuevos Ministerios Metro Station).
From Toledo to Madrid, the bus will depart on the 15th November at 3,15 p.m. from Parking Recaredo to
Nuevos Ministerios Metro Station.
