iPo Night light Project.
Duration 28 lessons.
Description.
Suggested target group Year 8 – iPo
Device with one input, one process and one output to perform a variety of tasks to solve problems identified by the pupils.
Simple LDR driven Night Light circuit with use of Vacuum formed shapes (frog, flower, car etc)
Make is the Vacuum form and assembly of the Night Light circuit and product.
Design is in the choice of Vac Form Plastic and mould.
A&T may be able to make their own moulds in lunch time sessions. A&T could also research other night light or garden light devices.
Understanding is in the theory lessons on environment control.

Differentiation
Able and talented. – This group should produce advanced designs with the least support. If possible they could come into lunch time
sessions to produce their own vacuum form moulds or specially shaped BackBoards.
SEN. ability – This group will have extra help in some ready drilled PCBs being made available
