Beginning of Lesson: Review colors by asking students as a class “De quelle couleur est…”
different objects in the room. Explain color games for the day.

Twister – [One Group at a Time] Remove shoes. Two people play at a time. One person
spins the wheel and announces where to put the hand or foot in FRENCH! (i.e. Pied à
droite sur rouge. Main à gauche sur jaune.)

Color Board Game – Play similar to Candy Land. (See Directions with game)

Color by Numbers – Color the picture according to the numbers. Then create your own
color by numbers picture.
Heart of Lesson: Students break into groups of 3. Each group draws a number for the order in
which they will play Twister (because only one group can play at a time). Then the other groups
go to one of the other two stations. Each group will get 8 minutes to play Twister before there is
a switch.
End of Lesson: Students will complete Colors Exit Quiz
