The first civilization (Egypt, India, China, and Mesopotamia) were created near
rivers civilization (complex culture with social structure religion, and art).
In 3000 B.C a civilization developing a certain way of what they knew.
The children were expected to grow up faster so their parents were the
ones that due the man their daughter married.
The industrial & French Revolutions from Europe created law codes
and the idea of divine kingship.
The Sumerian’s created city-states by 3000 B.C in their ancient region.
People understood certain things in 3000B.C because of the things they
knew.
The Mesopotamia’s made Sumerian’s city states and took over empires
and gained even more power over people.
Hammurabi had controlled Mesopotamia in 1729 B.C in the North of
Akkad.
Hammurabi was a great person in 1750B.C he encouraged trade and
created a law code.
Hammurabi empire collapsed in 1750 B.C but was still remembered
because he created the earliest law codes that been preserved.

Their parents would arrange their marriages.
Women didn’t here many privileges in their land.

II. Egypt and Divine Kingship
1. Egypt one of the oldest civilizations, very stable and lasted a long time was

3. Pharaoh(great house or palace) powerful monarchs take over a splendid and

6. Egypt built an empire it was the most powerful state in SW Asia but it collapsed
because it was too big.
III. New Centers of Civilization: The Israelites
1.By 1200 B.C. nor the western Asia was able to build a single dominating power.
2. Then a group of people joined together and built a small state.
3. Israel was ruled by King Solomon from 970 B.C to 930 B.C.
4. Later they split into two and became Israel and Judah

7. The Jews was unique from any other state in the western Asia.
IV. Ancient India
1. The Fist Civilization was Indus River.
2. In 300 B.C Civilization was devolved in a way that they knew.
3. People believe the Aryans were from central Asia.
4. The Aryans took terrutum to there place and they brought their own social system.
5. Educated citizen everywhere in the empire spoke Latin languages of Gaul, Spain
where platinized.
6. Over centuries they have been past be generations, India religious involved within the
four varnas.
7. In many traditions, in the medieval people are born in a social station.
V. Ancient China
1. Chinese civilizations happened during the Shang dynasty (1750 B.C. to 1045
B.C.) During the reign of the Chinese culture, they had a belief about a “Mandate
from Heaven” in which they believed if the country was ever in trouble, the
people would doubt him and not support him any more.
2. China turned into a more civilized place after the Zhou dynasty, also families
helped China become more stable.
3. The reason why China is powerful is because of their cultures as well for the Han
Dynasty that happened in 202 B.C to A.D 221 and took place in Central Asia.
4. A philosopher who lived in the sixth century B.C in a Chinese civilization was
seeking employment as a political appointment but didn’t get the job and became
a teacher for hundreds of students.
5. The Confucius was living in a time when China was in great confusion and rival
armies were always fighting and the Confucius wanted to answer a moral
question.
6. The Confucius’ important thing to them was “how to act morally in the real
world” and every person could bare knowledge but this was not possible also
Confucius was important.
7. Students who lived in a Chinese empire that guided Chinese people to the empire.
