Report to the Cabinet Member for Children and Schools Report submitted by: Executive Director for Children and Young People 23 November 2009 Title of Report: Fulwood Academy – Submission of Outline Business Case (OBC) to the Department for Children, Schools and Families Brief Description: The Cabinet Member for Children and Schools considered and noted the information contained in this report together with the Fulwood Academy draft OBC Executive Summary at Appendix 'A', and; (a) authorised the Head of Capital Development and Asset Management to submit the OBC to the DCSF/PfS to secure the current indicative potential available funding together with an allowance for active ICT as detailed in the report; (b) noted that the cost of any necessary off-site highway works (which may be required to discharge any condition forming part of a planning approval) is specifically excluded from funding allocated by the DCSF/PfS and this is to be funded by the Local Authority; (c) agreed in principle to finance the cost of related off-site highway works to be funded from the DCYP Single Capital Pot; The full report is not available for publication as it contains Exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.
