 Flexes the wrist and abducts the
hand (radial deviation); aids in
flexion of the elbow and
pronation of the forearm.

 Palmar aponeurosis (a sheet of
pearly-white fibrous tissue that
takes the place of a tendon in

 Flexes the wrist.
