GRADING SYSTEM
The marking system is based on a 4.0 scale.
Plus or minus marks are not computed.
Advanced Placement courses receive one extra
grade point if the grade earned is a C or above.
A ninth grade through twelfth grade class rank
and a tenth grade through twelfth grade class
rank are calculated. Rankings are based on a
weighted GPA. PHS offers 20 Advanced
Placement courses and 6 Honors courses. It
should be noted that from year to year AP
course enrollment may be limited to specific
grade level due to limited space.
