Macmillan Prostate Cancer Support Service
Age UK Leeds provides the Macmillan Cancer Support Project to older men
living with prostate cancer and their partners/carers. We work in
partnership with the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust who refer patients
who will benefit from the project.

We address the physical, emotional, social, financial and practical needs of
older men living with and beyond prostate cancer and the needs of their
partners/carers. Support is provided to enable the men to self manage
their cancer and any other long-term health conditions, to improve their
quality of life and reduce demands on healthcare resources.

Clients are offered an individual holistic assessment. The assessment will
cover areas of life which is essential to positive living for older people daily living skills, managing finances, social networks, emotional wellbeing,
physical health and pleasure in life.
