(Continuation of CSUCP-102)
EFFECTIVE DATES: October 1, 2005 – June 30, 2008
PROJECT ABSTRACT:
Approximately 4500 moth and butterfly (Lepidoptera) specimens were collected from Colorado National Monument in between 1995 and 2002 and are
currently being housed at the C. P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity at Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado. These specimens were
collected as part of a biodiversity survey conducted by international expert on Lepidoptera, Dr. Paul A. Opler. Funding for this project will be used to
temporarily hire a work-study intern to work with Dr. Opler to identify, pin, label, catalog, and enter data into the National Automated Catalog System Plus
