Joined MIMOS Berhad since December 2006 as Senior Director. He is a Member of Extended Senior Leadership Team,
MIMOS Berhad. Initiated collaboration with few universities including Universiti Institut Teknologi MARA, Universiti
Teknologi Malaysia, University Tenaga Nasional, Universiti Teknologi Petronas, and University of Bochum, Germany. He
is in charge of Postgraduate students who are under collaboration with MIMOS at Information Security Cluster. His
research works focus on Information Security and in particular in the areas of Trusted Computing Technologies, Privacy
Enhancing Technologies and Data Protection Technologies.
Joined Khazanah Nasional Berhad on March 2005 as Senior Vice President (ICT). He was responsible for managing a
team of Solution Delivery, Infrastructure and Asset, Helpdesk, Security & Support personnel. Managing few
implementation projects including financial, investment, knowledge management, business intelligence, and security.
Joined Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) on 6 August 2001 as a Principal Lecturer, College of Engineering.
Coordinator, Center for Consultancy & Quality (Sept 2001- Aug 2003). Internal consultant for establishment of ISO9001:
2000 Quality System at UNITEN. Head of Department of Networking & Software (Oct 2003- Sept 2005). Initiated Network
& IT Security Research Team. Leader of one IRPA grant worth RM 126,000.00.Member of another IRPA Grant, in
collaboration with UKM. Supervising PhD and Master Students (by Research). Initiated Quality management System for
College of Information Technology, UNITEN. He was invited to join Khazanah Nasional Berhad (parent company) to lead
the ICT Department.
Joined GITN Sdn Berhad on December 1996 as the Senior Manager, Network & IT Division. Heavily involved in the
telecommunications, as well as the Network & IT industry. GITN Sdn Berhad provides the Government Network & IT
services, inclusive of Network & IT systems & applications, network management & helpdesk, network centric applications
and security systems. Instrumental in establishment of all the above services as well leading the company in its
Operational Activities, as well as being the Chief Technical Officer.
Joined PROTON Berhad in August 1995, as the head of Network and CAD/CAM Section in the Management Information
System (MIS) Department. Establishment of the Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) campus network for PROTON, as
well as the CAD-CAM system and databases.
Joined Institut Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam since September 1981, as a lecturer in the Electrical & Electronics
Department. Head of Electronics & Electrical Engineering Department (1988-1989) and Deputy Dean School Of
Engineering (1990-1991).
