4.3 Solving an equation for “y”
**Solving for “y” means to rearrange the given equation so the “y” is on the left of the = sign
and the “x” term and constant (# with no variable) are on the right.
This concept will be used quite a bit in Unit 5 to graph an equation. So make sure you MASTER
it!
