... It is also called dipolar or molecular polarization. The molecules such as H2 , N2,O2,Cl2 ,CH4,CCl4 etc., does not carry any dipole because centre of positive charge and centre of negative charge coincides. On the other hand molecules like CH3Cl, H2O,HCl, ethyl acetate ( polar molecules) carries dip ...

... It is notice that, ExMF and electricity production for both SEG and Magnetic-Gravity Effects, required external power to initiate starting process. A modified version overcomes that and eliminate both vertical ExMF (V-ExMF) (Fig.3.B) and the excessive weight among others. Fig.1.a, shows M-RG-Searl-G ...

... The problem demands Ptotal  5.0P, so n2 must be at least as large as 5.0. Since n must be an integer, the smallest it can be is 3. The least number of resistors is n2 = 9. 32. (a) By symmetry, when the two batteries are connected in parallel the current i going through either one is the same. So fr ...

The Electric Field due to a Point Charge

... Examples of electric insulators are paper, chalk, rubber, plastic, and air. We will see later, however, that there are certain conditions that cause electric insulators to “break down” and become electric conductors. In an electric conductor charge moves freely. When the conductor is in electrostati ...

History of electromagnetic theory

For a chronological guide to this subject, see Timeline of electromagnetic theory. The history of electromagnetic theory begins with ancient measures to deal with atmospheric electricity, in particular lightning. People then had little understanding of electricity, and were unable to scientifically explain the phenomena. In the 19th century there was a unification of the history of electric theory with the history of magnetic theory. It became clear that electricity should be treated jointly with magnetism, because wherever electricity is in motion, magnetism is also present. Magnetism was not fully explained until the idea of magnetic induction was developed. Electricity was not fully explained until the idea of electric charge was developed.
