"Real World" Problems in the Analog and Mixed Signal Domains

... In this talk, we will discuss the design approaches commonly used for mixed mode systems. We will present a synopsis of the way such systems are currently verified in industry and talk about some of the drawbacks of these approaches. We will give a collection of interesting “real world” examples – e ...

... The null offset pins (1 and 5) provide a way to eliminate any offset in the output voltage of the amplifier. The offset voltage (usually denoted by Vos) is an artifact of the integrated circuit. The offset voltage is additive with VO (pin 6 in this case). It can be either positive or negative and is ...

Flexible electronics

Flexible electronics, also known as flex circuits, is a technology for assembling electronic circuits by mounting electronic devices on flexible plastic substrates, such as polyimide, PEEK or transparent conductive polyester film. Additionally, flex circuits can be screen printed silver circuits on polyester. Flexible electronic assemblies may be manufactured using identical components used for rigid printed circuit boards, allowing the board to conform to a desired shape, or to flex during its use.
