A Novel DFACTS Device for the Improvement of Power B.Y.Bagde
A Novel DFACTS Device for the Improvement of Power B.Y.Bagde

... 1. INTRODUCTION For a given transmission line, three key parameters determine power flow: terminal bus voltages, line impedence, and the relative phase angle between the sending and receiving end. To modify these parameters, a variety of mechanically switched devices like shunt connected capacitors ...

... The solution is to pre-bias the grid positively so that a o volt or even a positive grid voltage is possible. The circuit below shows one way to achieve this end. Now the raw power supply voltage can drop 20% from its nominal 560vdc value and the regulator will still maintain regulation. ...

By comparing the results of flux locus of C_DTC and 12_DTC, we can observe that the flux repulsion has been reduced in 12_DTC compared with C_DTC. In order to check theoretically, the percentage ...

... The maximum average current of the output diode is the same as the maximum load current. In this case, 4.167A is the maximum load current. For better efficiency, two 100V, 20A schottky diodes are used. The diode is reverse biased when MOSFET is turned on. The reverse voltage depends on the MOSFET sw ...

Stepper motor

A stepper motor or step motor or stepping motor is a brushless DC electric motor that divides a full rotation into a number of equal steps. The motor's position can then be commanded to move and hold at one of these steps without any feedback sensor (an open-loop controller), as long as the motor is carefully sized to the application in respect to torque and speed.Switched reluctance motors are very large stepping motors with a reduced pole count, and generally are closed-loop commutated.
