Buddhism in Vietnam (Vietnamese: 'đạo Phật or Phật giáo') as practiced by the ethnic Vietnamese is mainly of the Mahayana tradition. Vietnamese Buddhism has had a symbiotic relationship with certain elements of Taoism, Chinese spirituality, and the Vietnamese folk religion.
