... want to make. If the meter is switched to 20 V DC, for example, then 20 V is the maximum voltage which can be measured, this is sometimes called 20 V fsd, where fsd is short for full scale deflection. For circuits with power supplies of up to 20 V, which includes all the circuits you are likely to b ...

MAX8794 Low-Voltage DDR Linear Regulator General Description Features

... The MAX8794 regulates OUTS to the voltage set at REFIN, making the MAX8794 ideal for memory applications where the termination supply must track the supply voltage. Typically, REFIN is set by an external resistive voltage-divider connected to the memory supply (VDDQ) as shown in Figure 1. The maximu ...

... expanding nonlinearity f(v) has a slope f’(v) that increases with increasing v. The input (amplifier) would thus have a gain 1/f’(v) that decreases with increasing v. If f is an expanding function, the variation of v for a given variation of x will be less than for a linear F. Hence, with regard to ...

... converters either invert or double the input voltage. They have low output resistance (3.5Ω) and can deliver up to 125mA output current. These devices operate at one of two selectable frequencies: 125kHz/250kHz (MAX1680) and 500kHz/1MHz (MAX1681). This provides the flexibility to optimize capacitor ...

Current source

A current source is an electronic circuit that delivers or absorbs an electric current which is independent of the voltage across it.A current source is the dual of a voltage source. The term constant-current 'sink' is sometimes used for sources fed from a negative voltage supply. Figure 1 shows the schematic symbol for an ideal current source, driving a resistor load. There are two types - an independent current source (or sink) delivers a constant current. A dependent current source delivers a current which is proportional to some other voltage or current in the circuit.
