MAX3524 Low-Noise, High-Linearity Broadband Amplifier General Description

... controls the LNA current. To make the current insensitive to temperature fluctuations, select a 1%, low temperature coefficient resistor for R BIAS . The current drawn by the LNA is calculated using the following formula: IBIAS ≈ 0.58V / (RBIAS + DC resistance of LBIAS) It is important to include th ...

Performance of dissipative dielectric elastomer generators

... Dielectric elastomer generators have been designed to operate in cycles of various kinds.4,5,14,15,27 Here, we consider a dielectric elastomer generator that couples a dielectric membrane to the external circuits via a three-way switch (Fig. 3). MAX3665 622Mbps, Ultra-Low-Power, 3.3V Transimpedance Preamplifier for SDH/SONET ________________General Description

... The ITU/Bellcore specifications for SDH/SONET receivers require a link sensitivity of -27dBm with a bit error rate (BER) of 10-10. There is an additional 1dB power penalty to accommodate various system losses; therefore, the sensitivity of a 622Mbps receiver must be better than -28dBm. Although seve ...

Stray voltage

Stray voltage is the occurrence of electrical potential between two objects that ideally should not have any voltage difference between them. Small voltages often exist between two grounded objects in separate locations, due to normal current flow in the power system. Large voltages can appear on the enclosures of electrical equipment due to a fault in the electrical power system, such as a failure of insulation.
