ACS 200 Frequency Converters for Speed Control of 0.55 to 4.0 kW

... Note that the Main Circuit Card of the ACS 200 is at mains supply voltage potential. Warning! The d.c. bus capacitors on the Main Circuit Card contain dangerous d.c. voltages (1.35 ∗ U240, 1.3 ∗ U480). After disconnecting the supply, wait at least five minutes and ensure that the display readout on ...

Loading Considerations when Paralleling Transformers

... Typically, transformers should not be operated in parallel when the following conditions exist: 1. When the division of load is such that, with the total load current equal to the combined kVA rating of the transformers, one of the transformers is overloaded. 2. When the no-load circulating currents ...

Stray voltage

Stray voltage is the occurrence of electrical potential between two objects that ideally should not have any voltage difference between them. Small voltages often exist between two grounded objects in separate locations, due to normal current flow in the power system. Large voltages can appear on the enclosures of electrical equipment due to a fault in the electrical power system, such as a failure of insulation.
