... before Grid current is drawn and you go from Class AB1 to Class AB2 is the point where the RF volts = the applied Grid volts. Therefore by using a higher Screen volts the gain of the tube is increased and for a given QUIESCENT current, more negative Grid volts need to be applied ( less grid volts). ...

... Signals from a PT 100 Sensor are converted using the temperature converter modules into standard output signals (0…10 V, 0…20 mA, 4…20 mA). It is therefore easy to make a cost-effective connection between the process monitoring and the process administration (i.e. PLC). To stop signal corruption whi ...

... Brushless DC motors are referred to by many aliases: Brushless Permanent Magnet, Permanent Magnet AC Motors, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors etc. The confusion arises because a brushless dc motor does not directly operate off a dc voltage source. However, the basic principle of operation is simi ...

... Figure 3 shows how to use one LTC1446 to make an autoranging ADC. The microprocessor adjusts the ADC’s reference span and offset by loading the appropriate digital code into the LTC1446. VOUTA controls the common pin for the analog inputs to the LTC1296 and VOUTB controls the reference span by setti ...

... Surges from lightning, induction, and electrostatic discharge are based on the laws of physics and are known to cause problems (circuit burning out, some or most of the components not functioning properly) to many electronic devices, especially communications devices. The types of surges seen by the ...

Are you violating your op amp`s input- common-mode range?

... One special case worth mentioning for wide input ranges is the rail-to-rail-input op amp. Although the name implies an op amp whose input can span the entire supply-rail range, not all rail-to-ral-input devices cover the entire supply range, as you might assume. Many rail-to-rail-input op amps, suc ...

Voltage optimisation

Voltage optimisation is a term given to the systematic controlled reduction in the voltages received by an energy consumer to reduce energy use, power demand and reactive power demand. While some voltage 'optimisation' devices have a fixed voltage adjustment, others electronically regulate the voltage automatically.Voltage optimisation systems are typically installed in series with the mains electrical supply to a building, allowing all its electrical equipment to benefit from an optimised supply.
