UMFT231XE USB to Full-Handshake UART Development Module

... Figure 5.2 illustrates the UMFT231XE in a typical USB self-powered configuration. In this case the jumper connection of JP1 is removed, which allows 5V power to be supplied to the module VCC pins from an external source. VCCIO can to be powered from 3V3OUT or the VCC of an external source. For a sel ...

MAX4503/MAX4504 Low-Voltage, Dual-Supply, SPST, CMOS Analog Switches General Description

... Virtually all the analog leakage current is provided through the ESD diodes. Although the ESD diodes on a given signal pin are identical and therefore fairly well balanced, they are reverse biased differently. Each is biased by either V+ or V- and the analog signal. This means their leakages will va ...

Electromagnetic brake From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump
Electromagnetic brake From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump

... There are actually two engagement times to consider in an electromagnetic brake. The first one is the time it takes for a coil to develop a magnetic field, strong enough to pull in an armature. Within this, there are two factors to consider. The first one is the amount of ampere turns in a coil, whi ...

Alternating current

Alternating current (AC), is an electric current in which the flow of electric charge periodically reverses direction, whereas in direct current (DC, also dc), the flow of electric charge is only in one direction. The abbreviations AC and DC are often used to mean simply alternating and direct, as when they modify current or voltage.AC is the form in which electric power is delivered to businesses and residences. The usual waveform of alternating current in most electric power circuits is a sine wave. In certain applications, different waveforms are used, such as triangular or square waves. Audio and radio signals carried on electrical wires are also examples of alternating current. These types of alternating current carry information encoded (or modulated) onto the AC signal, such as sound (audio) or images (video).
