... The aim of this project is to design, build and test a voltage regulator module circuit (VRM) that can be used to compare the performance of different magnetic component designs. The VRM will be used to convert the input voltage (typically 12V) to a lower level which will supply a microprocessor loa ...

MAX7044 300MHz to 450MHz High-Efficiency, Crystal-Based +13dBm ASK Transmitter General Description

... The crystal-based architecture of the MAX7044 eliminates many of the common problems with SAW-based transmitters by providing greater modulation depth, faster frequency settling, higher tolerance of the transmit frequency, and reduced temperature dependence. The MAX7044 also features a low supply vo ...

... the circuit components are connected so that the same amount of current flows through each. The circuit must have continuity. If a wire is disconnected or broken, current stops flowing. If one load is open, none of the loads will work. Use of Ohm's Law Applying Ohm's Law to series circuits is easy. ...

Opto-isolator

In electronics, an opto-isolator, also called an optocoupler, photocoupler, or optical isolator, is a component that transfers electrical signals between two isolated circuits by using light. Opto-isolators prevent high voltages from affecting the system receiving the signal. Commercially available opto-isolators withstand input-to-output voltages up to 10 kV and voltage transients with speeds up to 10 kV/μs.A common type of opto-isolator consists of an LED and a phototransistor in the same opaque package. Other types of source-sensor combinations include LED-photodiode, LED-LASCR, and lamp-photoresistor pairs. Usually opto-isolators transfer digital (on-off) signals, but some techniques allow them to be used with analog signals.
