... is 7ppm/mA for a maximum error of 0.1LSB. This implies a reference output impedance of less than 18mΩ. In addition, the impedance of the signal path from the voltage reference to the reference input must be kept low because it contributes directly to the load-regulation ...

Royalist45 MK2 1 - Tone King Amplifier Company

... The Royalist is a non-master-volume amp, which means that the volume control alone determines the signal level through the amplifier. This makes it simple to dial in. You turn the volume control down for clean tones, and turn it up for distortion. Easy enough, but there is a limitation. With this ki ...

... The range of loop voltages that can be used by the configuration shown in Figure 3 is determined by the FET breakdown and saturation voltages. The external FET parameters such as Vgs (off), IDSS and transconductance must be chosen so that the op amp output on the DRIVE pin can control the FET operat ...

This means that their resistive, capacitive, and inductive characteristics must be evaluated on a per-unit-distance basis. Transmission lines have this property in general, and thus become circuit elemen ...

... • To measure Rx without the influence of Rs and Rp it is necessary to have a Is current equal to 0; this is possible if the point “B” is at the same voltage of point “A” • The Guard is a “voltage follower” and is used to isolate the tested component from the rest of the circuit. ...

Buck converter

A buck converter is a voltage step down and current step up converter. The simplest way to reduce the voltage of a DC supply is to use a linear regulator (such as a 7805), but linear regulators waste energy as they operate by dissipating excess power as heat. Buck converters, on the other hand, can be remarkably efficient (95% or higher for integrated circuits), making them useful for tasks such as converting the main voltage in a computer (12V in a desktop, 12-24V in a laptop) down to the 0.8-1.8V needed by the processor.
