RF2516 VHF/UHF TRANSMITTER Features
RF2516 VHF/UHF TRANSMITTER Features

... Short range radio devices are becoming commonplace in today’s environment. The most common examples are the remote keyless entry systems popular on many new cars and trucks, and the ubiquitous garage door opener. Other applications are emerging with the growth in home security, automation and the ad ...

LM1036 Dual DC Operated Tone/Volume/Balance Circuit

... The volume control function of the LM1036 is carried out in two stages, controlled by the DC voltage on pin 12, to improve signal handling capability and provide a reduction of output noise level at reduced gain. The first stage is before the tone control processing and provides an initial 15 dB of ...

Low-Distortion Sine Wave Oscillator with Precise RMS Amplitude

... As measured with a Hewlett-Packard 3589A Spectrum Analyzer, the harmonic distortion of this circuit with a 100kHz, 1VRMS sine wave output is –92dBc (0.0025%). The amplitude stability is better than –60dBc (0.1%). With a 2VRMS output, the circuit yields only slightly degraded performance, at –80dBc ( ...

... A SCR is a four-layer solid state device that controls current. In the normal “off” state, SCR restricts current to the leakage current. When the gate-to-cathode voltage exceeds a certain threshold, SCR turns “on” and conducts current. A SCR will remain in the “on” state even after gate current is r ...

Buck converter

A buck converter is a voltage step down and current step up converter. The simplest way to reduce the voltage of a DC supply is to use a linear regulator (such as a 7805), but linear regulators waste energy as they operate by dissipating excess power as heat. Buck converters, on the other hand, can be remarkably efficient (95% or higher for integrated circuits), making them useful for tasks such as converting the main voltage in a computer (12V in a desktop, 12-24V in a laptop) down to the 0.8-1.8V needed by the processor.
