... discovered by Bryant Tuckerman in 1971 and reported in the Gu-iness Book of Records [3]. The three preceding ones were given by Gillies [2].) It is not known whether there are any odd perfect numbers, though many necessary conditions for their existence have been established. The most interesting of ...

The main conclusions of this analysis are: i) The capacitor coupling produces a load dependent dynamics; ii) Even with a proportional regulator the resulted closed loop system has a very low damping exactly because of the capacitor voltage coupling; iii) The P regulator is unable to achieve zero ste ...

... receiving circuits. For process signals such as 4–20 mA or 1–5 V, loop isolators are available. Take care in such wiring to prevent grounding of isolated circuits, usually via shields, which defeats the ground loop isolation. Though not related to grounding, electromagnetic fields can also induce cu ...

... Each of the (b) rational numbers x = a/b in U with b odd and (a, A) = 1 is periodic under iterations of g. For x in / we have bg(x) = 2b(l-alb) = -2a (mod b), whereas for x in H we have g(x) = a/h + ll2,hg2(x) = 2b(ll2-alb) = -2a (mod *). If t is the exponent of -2 (mod h), there are f fractions ...

Mathematics of radio engineering

The mathematics of radio engineering is the mathematical description by complex analysis of the electromagnetic theory applied to radio. Waves have been studied since ancient times and many different techniques have developed of which the most useful idea is the superposition principle which apply to radio waves. The Huygen's principle, which says that each wavefront creates an infinite number of new wavefronts that can be added, is the base for this analysis.
