... boundary judgments are mostly implicit judgments, i.e. they are invisible and unconscious • From a cognitive point of view, “bounding” is—like “framing,” or “sensemaking”—a basic cognitive process: it determines how we interpret the world around us • All this means: Any attempt to “critique” boundar ...

... Start by multiplying the ones column. 7 x 4 is 28. Write the 8 under the 7 7. Carry the 2 2, which is actually 20 20, over to the tens column. Next, multiply 7 x 2 is 14. Add the 2 tens that you carried over from 28. 14 + 2 = 16. Write it next to the 8. The total of 24 x 7 is 168. Another way to sol ...

Piola-Kirchhoff stress tensor The first Piola-Kirchhoff stress tensor, denoted s Mj, represents the force acting on an element of surface in the deformed configuration but measured per unitundeformed area. The first index is written in uppercase as it refers to the normal of the surface in the undef ...

Computational electromagnetics

Computational electromagnetics, computational electrodynamics or electromagnetic modeling is the process of modeling the interaction of electromagnetic fields with physical objects and the environment. It typically involves using computationally efficient approximations to Maxwell's equations and is used to calculate antenna performance, electromagnetic compatibility, radar cross section and electromagnetic wave propagation when not in free space.A specific part of computational electromagnetics deals with electromagnetic radiation scattered and absorbed by small particles.
