... INTRODUCTION: At radio frequencies (RF) and microwave frequencies, signals must be viewed as waves instead of currents and voltages. One of the reasons is the wavelength becomes very short that the current at one point of a long conductor is not the same as that at another point. As a result, the or ...

... both are in the evaluation phase as shown in Fig. 10. Locally, this is not a problem because the clock delay is usually less than the gate delay. In a pure pipeline structure the condition between the clock delay and the data delay is still satisfactory. In the case of a large system, we propose two ...

LM35 Precision Centigrade Temperature Sensors (Rev. C)

... The LM35 is applied easily in the same way as other integrated-circuit temperature sensors. Glue or cement the device to a surface and the temperature should be within about 0.01°C of the surface temperature. This presumes that the ambient air temperature is almost the same as the surface temperatur ...

Valve RF amplifier

A valve RF amplifier (UK and Aus.) or tube amplifier (U.S.), is a device for electrically amplifying the power of an electrical radio frequency signal.Low to medium power valve amplifiers for frequencies below the microwaves were largely replaced by solid state amplifiers during the 1960s and 1970s, initially for receivers and low power stages of transmitters, transmitter output stages switching to transistors somewhat later. Specially constructed valves are still in use for very high power transmitters, although rarely in new designs.
