Ohm`s Law Ohmic relationship –V=IR Non Ohmic devises Electric

... Ohmmeters work by passing a small current through the component and measuring the voltage produced. An ohmmeter does not function with a circuit connected to a power supply. If you want to measure the resistance of a particular component, you must take it out of the circuit altogether and test it se ...

... Instead of a Darlingtion NPN with its two diode voltage drop, the LM1085 uses a single NPN. This results in a lower dropout voltage. The structure of the pass transistor is also known as a quasi LDO. The advantage a quasi LDO over a PNP LDO is its inherently lower quiescent current. The LM1085 is gu ...

... This is a good place to offer a tip about using op-amps in analog or mixed-signal circuits: it is considered good practice to always include bias-decoupling capacitors for each IC in the circuit. Valve RF amplifier

A valve RF amplifier (UK and Aus.) or tube amplifier (U.S.), is a device for electrically amplifying the power of an electrical radio frequency signal.Low to medium power valve amplifiers for frequencies below the microwaves were largely replaced by solid state amplifiers during the 1960s and 1970s, initially for receivers and low power stages of transmitters, transmitter output stages switching to transistors somewhat later. Specially constructed valves are still in use for very high power transmitters, although rarely in new designs.
