Yom Kippur (/jɔːm ˈkɪpər, joʊm, jɒm/; Hebrew: יוֹם כִּפּוּר, IPA: [ˈjom kiˈpuʁ], or יום הכיפורים), also known as Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism.
