Encoder Outputs Shouldn`t Fail - Nidec

... Long cables in particular are a serious challenge: Think of them like a jump-rope with a child at each end. When one end is wiggled up and down in a precise on/off pattern, a wave travels from one end to the other. The longer and heavier the jump-rope, the harder it becomes to wiggle the rope to get ...

... The standby-ferro UPS was once the dominant form of UPS in the 3-15 kVA range. This design depends on a special saturating transformer that has three windings (power connections). The primary power path is from AC input, through a transfer switch, through the transformer, and to the output. In the c ...

Audio power

Audio power is the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, measured in watts. The electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker, together with its sensitivity, determines the sound power level generated (with the rest being converted to heat).Amplifiers are limited in the electrical energy they can amplify, while loudspeakers are limited in the electrical energy they can convert to sound energy without distorting the audio signal or being damaged. These power ratings are important to consumers finding compatible products and comparing competitors.
