MAX3864 2.5Gbps, +3V to +5.5V, Wide Dynamic Range Transimpedance Preamplifier General Description
MAX3864 2.5Gbps, +3V to +5.5V, Wide Dynamic Range Transimpedance Preamplifier General Description

... The DC cancellation circuit is internally compensated and therefore does not require external capacitors. This circuit minimizes PWD for data sequences that exhibit a 50% duty cycle and mark density. A duty cycle or mark density significantly different from 50% causes the MAX3864 to generate PWD. DC ...

... Research Inc.). In order to satisfy the high coupling required by the coupled line sections (typical coupling was on the order of -1 to -2 dB), a broadside coupled, suspended substrate construction was used. A tapered balun was chosen at the common port owing to its broadband nature. To avoid isolat ...

... Accuracy Requirements In an NPR, the dynamic range of the input signal is often very high. For example, a typical overcurrent protection relay will be expected to monitor currents starting from few amperes (A) all the way up to its trip point setting, which could be in kilo-amperes (kA). It is also ...

Audio power

Audio power is the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, measured in watts. The electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker, together with its sensitivity, determines the sound power level generated (with the rest being converted to heat).Amplifiers are limited in the electrical energy they can amplify, while loudspeakers are limited in the electrical energy they can convert to sound energy without distorting the audio signal or being damaged. These power ratings are important to consumers finding compatible products and comparing competitors.
