... If Vin increases, the control circuit will reduce the duty cycle accordingly, so as to maintain a constant output. Likewise if the load is reduced and Vout rises, the control circuit will act in the same way. Conversely a decrease in Vin or increase in load, will cause the duty cycle to be increased ...

... Power equals Voltage times current, thus a higher voltage will result in a lower current needed to arrive at a desired power load. By not having excessive, wasted current, long runs of wire can be prevented from overheating. This makes 70 Volt Systems very energy efficient. Many municipalities in Am ...

Audio power

Audio power is the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, measured in watts. The electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker, together with its sensitivity, determines the sound power level generated (with the rest being converted to heat).Amplifiers are limited in the electrical energy they can amplify, while loudspeakers are limited in the electrical energy they can convert to sound energy without distorting the audio signal or being damaged. These power ratings are important to consumers finding compatible products and comparing competitors.
