Advanced vector control for voltage source
Advanced vector control for voltage source

... (<2). For HVDC systems based on Line Commuted Converters (LCC) there is a limitation of the minimum required SCR (it is suggested to be higher than 2 in order to avoid instabilities [2]), but such a theoretical limit does not exist for VSC based systems [3]. This means that a VSC-HVDC converter is c ...

... When a diode is placed in the feedback path of an inverting op-amp, the output voltage is proportional to the log of the input voltage. The gain decreases with increasing input voltage; therefore the amplifier is said to compress signals. Many sensors, particularly photosensors, have a very large dy ...

Audio power

Audio power is the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, measured in watts. The electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker, together with its sensitivity, determines the sound power level generated (with the rest being converted to heat).Amplifiers are limited in the electrical energy they can amplify, while loudspeakers are limited in the electrical energy they can convert to sound energy without distorting the audio signal or being damaged. These power ratings are important to consumers finding compatible products and comparing competitors.
