Power Converters and Control of Renewable Energy Systems
Power Converters and Control of Renewable Energy Systems

... The energy comsumption is steadily increasing and the deregulation of electricity has caused that the amount of installed production capacity of classical high power stations cannot follow the demand. A method to fill out the gap is to make incentives to invest in alternative energy sources like win ...

... all devices in the network using AutoIP/mDNS, and the configurable access control with user/ password. The TOPAS can be operated remotely, no matter which operating system is used. Because of the redundant firmware, updates are save and easy. The standby power consumption is limited to 4.5 watts. Th ...

For fixed line and load conditions, higher inductance results in a lower peak current for each pulse, a lower load capability, and a higher switching frequency. The saturation level is another important parameter in choosing inductors. Note that the saturation lev ...

... IF Outputs The MAX9985 employs a differential IF output to offer increased IIP2 system performance; the EV kit uses a 4:1 balun to transform the 200Ω differential output impedance to a 50Ω single-ended output for convenient bench evaluation. Inductive pullups provide DC bias to the IF output amplifi ...

High Performance Portable DC Bench Power Supply

... The key component to the supply is the LT3081 linear regulator surrounded by a short list of easy-to-get components. The LT3081’s unique current-source reference and voltage-follower output amplifier make it possible to connect two linear regulators in parallel for up to 3A and over 24V of adjustabl ...

... It is common to express the amplitude of the sine-wave signal in terms of its root-meansquare (rms) value, which is its peak value divided by the square root of two. Thus the rms value of the sinusoid on the previous page is Va divided by the square root of two.  For example a 120V wall ac power su ...

Audio power

Audio power is the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, measured in watts. The electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker, together with its sensitivity, determines the sound power level generated (with the rest being converted to heat).Amplifiers are limited in the electrical energy they can amplify, while loudspeakers are limited in the electrical energy they can convert to sound energy without distorting the audio signal or being damaged. These power ratings are important to consumers finding compatible products and comparing competitors.
