Two powerful earthquakes have occurred April 11, 2012 in the northern Indian
Ocean. According to the USGS (U.S. Geological Survey), the magnitude was
8.6 and 8.2, respectively. The epicenter was located off the northern coast Indonesian island of Sumatra, 495 and 615 km south-west Banda Aceh, the focus was located at a depth of 22.9 and 16.4 km. The second tremor occurred
about 2 hours after first. A series of aftershocks with magnitude 4,5-5,9 per
day reached 30.
Indonesia, in particular, the zone of. Sumatra, refers to itself seismically acti ve. It is located at the junction of the Eurasian and moving Indo-Australian tectonic plates, the latter moves under the Eurasian. In 2004, December 26 in
the area earthquake with magnitude 9.1, which was a forces that moved the
blocks of the crust. Because of this rise wave tsunami, which resulted in a
250,000 victims.
Recent earthquakes have not caused a significant shift blocks Earth's crust.
Therefore, the tsunami on the coast of Indonesia was weak.
However, earthquakes, April 11, 2012 off the coast of the island Sumatra, preceded and accompanied by notable effects planetary nature. According to numerous media and materials Internet active volcanoes in Kamchatka (Shiveluch), Colombia (Nevada del Ruiz), Ecuador (Tungaraua), Mexico(Popokateptl),
Italy's frequent eruptions of volcano Etna in Sicily. Active earthquake in Mexico, Japan, China (Tibet), Indonesia (the island of Java, New Zealand, Atlantic,
Indian Ocean (Carlsberg Ridge), and Western Europe.
Formed massive failures of land in Houston, landslides in Nizhny Novgorod,
Chelyabinsk bus nearly went underground, Kurgan fall through the road - one
after another. Carcasses of humpback whale found on the shores of the Arabian Sea, 615 dead dolphins were found on the Peruvian coast. Weather and
climate anomalies. Early spring in North America, Western and Central Europe, the sudden increase in temperature in central Russia, where the spring
was delayed for one and a half to two weeks, in Siberia, where large areas
are raging fires. Heat in Turkmenistan. Floods, hurricanes in Siberia, Namibia,
Genua. Tornadoes in the United States. A large wave of floods in Central
Russia. Hail-killer in China.
Short-term prediction of earthquakes on April 11 in Indonesia, made possible
by the predictive model, developed on the basis of weather discovery precursors of the underground elements and years of research relationship to
weather and earthquakes (Boris Mavashev, the Internet). 7 and 8 April 2012
there was a sharp increase in air temperature in Jerusalem - up to 30-31 degrees, and in Eilat, southern Israel - up to 39 degrees. The day before the
earthquake and there was a shift in wind direction, which is characteristic for
an earthquake. A April 10, 2012 to the south-west coast of India, in the Carlsberg Ridge, a magnitude 4.8 earthquake, the epicenter of which was located
2
relatively close to Indonesian earthquake. If the value of the temperature anomalies are determined the possible magnitude of the forthcoming earthquake,
the tremor in the Carlsberg indicates a possible area (location) of a future
earthquake. It should be noted, the meteorological method of earthquake prediction has been successfully tested in the prediction of earthquakes within a
few days in Israel and the region.
So, the solution to the problem of short-term earthquake prediction becomes
real. It is time to create the International Center for the Study of global climate
change and predicting earthquakes. Such a center could operate under the
auspices of the UN or on the basis of interstate agreements in several coun tries.
