NOTIFICATION
Additional chances for the MBA students who have exhausted the maximum period
prescribed for completion of the course
All the MBA students (from 2005-06 to 2011-12 batch) who have exhausted the
maximum period prescribed for completion of the course are granted two more chances i.e. June
2016 and December 2016 examination sessions in order to complete the course and qualify for
the degree by re-registering themselves. The MBA students of 2005-06 to 2011-12 batches
have to write the equivalent paper as per the new syllabus. The list of equivalent papers is
enclosed. For new syllabus kindly refer our website www.pondiuni.edu.in.
These two chances can be availed as follows:
June 2016 examination session
At the first reappearance the student has to pay Rs. 5000/- as a re-registration fee. After reregistration the student can appear for examination by registering himself/herself for examination
by paying normal examination fee in addition.
December 2016 examination session
If still he/she is not able to clear the papers he/she can avail one more chance by paying
another Rs. 5000/- and registering himself/herself for examination by paying normal examination
fee in addition.
Those students who want to avail these chances and appear for examinations are directed to
re-register themselves immediately with the Director, Directorate of Distance Education,
Pondicherry University. For re-registration, the students should send request letter mentioning their
Name, Enrolment number and Name of the course along with the prescribed fee of Rs. 5000/- by
means of demand draft drawn in favour of “The Finance officer, Pondicherry University,
Pondicherry” and payable at Pondicherry.
While applying for re-registration the student should also register himself/herself for
examination by paying normal examination fee in addition. The student should fill in the
examination application form and enclose the prescribed fees for examination by a separate
demand draft. The application for re-registration and the filled in examination application form
should be sent to the following address:

Last date for receipt of re-registration fee and exam application is 5th May 2016
without fine and 15th May 2016 with fine for June 2016 session.
The examination application form will be forwarded to the Controller of Examinations
after re-registration.
