STPI has got the permission for installation and operation of International
Gateway
 STPI has got Class “A” Internet Service Provider license.
 STPI formed the Strategic Business Alliance with three International Long
Distance Operators (ILDOs).
 To provide the data communication in remote location, STPI has got the
commercial VSAT license.
 STPI is in the process of getting license from Ministry of I & B for Teleport
(Video Uplinking) services.

 STPI has set-up Internet Exchange points in India.
 This would enable exchange of domestic Internet Traffic within NIXI.
 STPI has made available the infrastructure at four locations at
NOIDA, Mumbai, Kolkatta and Chennai
 The internet exchange point in Noida(Delhi), Mumbai and Chennai
are already commissioned.

Team (CERT-In) is being set up under the aegis
of Ministry of Communication and Information
Technology (MCIT), Department of Information
Technology (DIT) to ensure that India’s
