Few evolutionary allegations are more
disturbing than the assertion that
mankind has descended from an
ape-like ancestor. Most evolutionists
today defend the view that in the
distant past humans and apes had
such a common ancestor.
Honest scientists admit that the
theories surrounding hominid

This presentation highlights some of the greatest
embarrassing moments for evolutionists as
“missing link” after “missing link” has been
debunked and shown to be fallacious,
fraudulent, or phony. However, many of these
“missing links” are still touted in textbooks to
positively support evolution!
NEBRASKA MAN
All they found for Nebraska Man is one tooth! They “scientifically”
built him from that tooth and later even built him a wife! Later they
found out the tooth came from a pig.

PILTDOWN MAN
Someone had taken an ape jawbone and a human skull, broke the
TMJs off, filed the teeth down, and fitted them together and fooled
everyone for 40 years! It was exposed as a fraud in 1953.

NEANDERTHAL MAN
A skeleton found in the Neander Valley with his back significantly bent
over. The skeleton shows evidence of great age and arthritis, which

Australopithecus africanus (Taung)
Found by Raymond Dart 1924 and
proclaimed as an intermediate link
between apes and man. In 1973 South
African geologist announced that the cave
the skull was found in was no more than
¾ million years old. This means the
Taung skull could not be a missing link
between apes and humans.

LUCY
The St. Louis Zoo has Lucy on display with human
feet and hands. No feet or hand bones were
found.
The purpose of the display is not for education but
for indoctrination in evolution theory.
“Peking Man” was made
from pieces of skull found in
the 1920’s in Peking, China.
All evidence was lost in WW II.
Most people were never
told that the remains of at
least 10 humans were also
found with these “monkey”
bones so they could not
possibly be a “missing link.”
“Java Man” (originally called
Pithecanthropus erectus - meaning “erect ape
man” and now called Homo erectus and
dated by evolutionists at 500,000 years old)
was made from a few scraps of bone found
in 1891 in Java, Indonesia. Dutch anatomist
Dr. Dubois (1858-1940) believed in evolution
and had gone to Java, Indonesia to look for
missing links between man and apes.
Dubois had no formal training in geology or paleontology at the time, and his “archaeological
team” consisted of prison convicts with two army corporals as supervisors.
Dubois took an ape’s skull cap, and three human teeth
plus a thigh bone (found a year later and 50 feet
away) from a human and informed the world he had
found the “missing link.”
Rudolph Virchow, who had once been Haeckel’s
professor and is regarded as the father of modern
pathology, said: “In my opinion, this creature was
an animal, a giant gibbon, in fact. The thigh bone
has not the slightest connection with the skull.”

What does it mean that we are made in “the image of God”?
1. We resemble God in His moral nature. We have a moral sense of
justice, rightness, goodness, mercy, love, and holiness.
2. We have a special status within the created realm. No other creature
is said to have been created in God’s image. We have a special
dignity, privilege, and responsibility within creation.
3. We are not animals. We have not descended from lower creatures.
Our lineage descends from God Himself. We bear a “family
resemblance” to God, although corrupted today by sin.
4. We innately recognize that it would be inappropriate for us to
behave animalistically. There is a moral consciousness of right and
wrong. We do not behave purely on instinct. We have a conscience.
Our environment doesn’t determine our behavior.
Evolution says we are getting better, but the
Bible says we are getting worse.
