the lattice or algorithmic form
When multiplying decimals, pretend it is
one big whole number
1. Put the biggest number on top
2. Put the smaller number on the bottom
3. Multiply
4. Count how many numbers are after the
decimal
5. Starting at the right, count over as many
numbers as you counted behind the
decimal
6. Put your decimal there
