Finding the light
Robert Kiyosaki




Robert was a warrior, he
fought in Vietnam.
He survived three
helicopter crashes.
Robert believed he was
average and was not able
to find his true calling.
“By the age of twentyfive, I realized I did not
have any special talents.”
Emi Kiyosaki




Emi protested the war and
kept company with hippies.
“Do consequences not
matter then after-if there is
an after?”
Her Buddhist studies
offered answers to those
questions.
She found her path in an
excellent spiritual
community.
Success



“Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to
fish, and you feed him for life.”
Robert does not believe in just handing out money, but in
teaching how to make your assets flourish.
Robert is a corporate mogul of sorts, keeping company with the
likes of Donald Trump and Steve Forbes.
God and Happiness






Emi was struck with cancer and did not have the money to pay for treatment.
Robert gave her money, but after urged her to polish and find new horizons to find financial
freedom.
“The beautiful thing about being human beings is that we have the opportunity to change, we
don’t have to live in a rut.”
Robert was living a rich life, but lacked spiritual meaning in his life. His sister Emi a Buddhist
nun showed him happiness through spiritual family
In 2006 Robert saw his sister standing next to the Dalai Lama, he felt such peace when he
spoke to her.
“Just because you are rich does not mean you have succeeded in becoming who you were born
to become.”
Money and Happiness



Robert believes that people live in fear and this limits them to
live a richer and fuller life.
“As Capitalism spreads the American dream is evolving into a
worldwide dream, many Americans will notice they are falling
behind rather than leading the world in an economic lifestyle.”
World War II generation has Medicare and social security
benefits to look forward too, however the same financial
security will not be promised for generations to come.
The End


Robert was rich, but lacked spiritual richness.
Emi was spiritually rich but lacked financial richness.

“In reconnecting with Tenzin (Emi), I realized that a rich life has two balance
sheets…a financial one and a spiritual one. My financial balance sheet was strong, but
my spiritual one paled in comparison.”
